The Ornan Jungle is the largest virgin rain forest in Eon. It is located on The Southern Continent to the west of the Nubian Sea, to the north of Mount Malawi, and to the south of the Firemore Desert. It is notably the home of Burkina, a large wood-elf community, and Benin Falls, the world's largest waterfall. It is sometimes called "The Lungs of Eon" due to the amount of carbon dioxide it absorbs. Many of the world's rarest flora and fauna can be found here, as well as any number of things that will eat your face and internal organs.

In the winter of 1442, a large creature was seen leaving the Nubian Sea and walking into the forest.
In the fall of 1443, Ashra used a scroll of Discern Location to search for her mother, the Elder Brain of Baldur City. The spell indicated a location in the Ornan Jungle.
