The Bar That Lived
The Stumbling Duck is a tavern, inn, offshore tax haven, and adventuring hub in Port Brogan, Goneril. It is located on Luxia, a small island to the south of the main island, and is the first habitable location outside of the deadly coral reef that surrounds Brogan's Island, with the exception of a single lighthouse. The Stumbling Duck is, for various legal reasons, not a part of The Brogan Administrative District and classified as its own independent Permanent Autonomous Zone. Its proprietor is the retired adventurer Yolanda The Gallant, who is known for her liberal approach to tavern brawls.
In Eon[]
The Stumbling Duck was the meetup point for the crew of the Infinite Horizons under Dread Pirate Lucy, Zombie Pirate Sorcerer Lando, Valeria Oak III, and Kruglor the Planeshifter.
Yolanda, the owner as of 1443, used to be a crewmember of the Jade Kracken and is still fiercely loyal to Baudin Dommilan.
The inn was the site of the crossover episode between Eon: Unsolved Mysteries (Fall 2008) and Eon: Infinite Horizons (Summer 2008), in which Ethan of Malvont, Sil'meelen and Jaxis of Icewinton save Dread Pirate Lucy and Kruglor from a poisoning attempt made by Tyrese Ragun.
Later, it was the site of a showdown between the Holy Returners, the crew of the Jade Kracken II during Eon: The Frozen Fates (Spring 2009), Tyro Avampour, and Ulfgar the Shadowdancer.
The Stumbling Duck was the location that Jaxil Motherfuckin' Icewinton was first spotted in Season Three by The Company: screaming, dead drunk, without wearing any pants.
